How Many?

I believe that we have three separated women's groups in Iran : Modern , Traditional women and Group in the middle who are moving from the traditional to modern group.
The traditional group is the most important. However , we don't have a right resource to know how many percent of the Iranian women belong to this group.
The activists need this information.

Joojeh jaan,

I don't think one can make such a clean-cut categorization of the Iranian women. Also, the evolutionary logic of "tradition to modernity" is very problematic, i beieve. There is a lot written on the false dichotomy of tradition vs. modernity. I highly recommend Afsaneh Najmabadi's work which addresses the construction of this dichotomy (modern woman vs. traditional woman) in the history of modern Iran. Modernity and tradition are not binary opposites.
